We here at The Pride strive to ensure we have the tools available so that our congregant’s health and well being, while in our building, are met. Whether it is for Shabbat services, a simcha, daily minyan prayers or one of classes, emergency situations may arise where congregants may require medical attention.
It is in terms of this health and well being that we are launching a L’Chaim campaign to raise funds to purchase a portable defibrillator machine for our Shul. We currently have 2 oxygen tanks, donated to us by our members, as well as a simple first aid kit with an outdated blood pressure monitor. We need to do better. We need to have access to the proper equipment to safeguard the health of our congregants while they are in our house.
We are asking for donations to cover the cost of a portable defibrillator machine. In addition, we would also like to update our blood pressure monitor and our first aid kit.
The cost of all of the equipment mentioned above is approximately $2,500.00 and training is provided for the proper use of these.
To make a donation towards the L’Chaim campaign, please contact Susan in the office. Tax receipts will be issued for all contributions.
