Cemetery Visit
This year, the visit is scheduled for Sunday, October 6, 2024.
The itinerary for the day is as follows:
- 10:45 AM: We will gather at Roselawn Cemetery for our first visit.
- Following our time at Roselawn, we will proceed to Mount Sinai Cemetery.
This visit provides a special opportunity for reflection and remembrance. We request you to join us in this important tradition as we pay our respects and support one another in this communal act of honouring those who have passed.
Please plan to arrive a few minutes early so that we can start promptly at 10:45 AM.
Join us LIVE for Selihot
Join us live at Shul on Saturday, September 28th, 9:00 pm for Selichot services.
Beginning at 9:00 pm we will davin Ma'ariv and Havdallah together.
Following that will be a dedication of all memorial plaques purchased this past year.
You can participate in the ceremonial changing of the Torah covers to the traditional white used for the High Holy Days.
Then help us usher in the High Holy Day season with the meaningful Selichot prayers.

וּלְקַחְתֶּ֨ם לָכֶ֜ם בַּיּ֣וֹם הָרִאשׁ֗וֹן פְּרִ֨י עֵ֤ץ הָדָר֙ כַּפֹּ֣ת תְּמָרִ֔ים וַעֲנַ֥ף עֵץ־עָבֹ֖ת וְעַרְבֵי־נָ֑חַל וּשְׂמַחְתֶּ֗ם לִפְנֵ֛י יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֖ם שִׁבְעַ֥ת יָמִֽים׃
On the first day you shall take the product of hadar trees, branches of palm trees, boughs of leafy trees, and willows of the brook, and you shall rejoice before your God יהוה seven days.
